Mortlach School

K-12 School in Prairie South School Division

Mortlach School is on Treaty 4 land, the traditional territory of the Cree Saulteaux, Nakota Lakota, and Dakota peoples and homeland of the Métis.  We respect and honor the treaties and commit to learning more to right the wrongs of the past.

Mortlach School is a kindergarten to grade 12 school with approximately 75 students.  We strive to build a learning community where everyone feels valued by ensuring our actions value the well-being, diversity, engagement, grit, and giving of our community.  Our team cultivates a sense of belonging, mastery, independence, and generosity through exposure to various experiences, cultures, and opportunities to create engaged citizens.

We commit to:

  • Providing a safe space where everyone shares perspectives and feel physically, psychologically and emotionally safe.
  • Providing meaningful ways for students to engage in their learning.
  • Being there to help through the learning process.
  • Contributing our time, talents, and energy.
