Mortlach School

K-12 School in Prairie South School Division

Mortlach School is on Treaty 4 land, the traditional territory of the Cree Saulteaux, Nakota Lakota, and Dakota peoples and homeland of the M├ętis.  We respect and honor the treaties and commit to learning more to right the wrongs of the past.

Mortlach School is a kindergarten to grade 12 school with approximately 75 students.  We strive to build a learning community where everyone feels valued by ensuring our actions value the well-being, diversity, engagement, grit, and giving of our community.  Our team cultivates a sense of belonging, mastery, independence, and generosity through exposure to various experiences, cultures, and opportunities to create engaged citizens.

We commit to:

  • Providing a safe space where everyone shares perspectives and feel physically, psychologically and emotionally safe.
  • Providing meaningful ways for students to engage in their learning.
  • Being there to help through the learning process.
  • Contributing our time, talents, and energy.
